You must bring: mountaineering clothing (warm layers, waterproofs, gloves), sleeping bag, mountaineering boots, backpack, water bottle/thermos, sunglasses, glacier goggles, trekking poles, headlamp, sunscreen, personal snacks. Rent locally in Stepantsminda: boots and any missing personal gear (good-quality rental available — ask us for the shop and approximate prices). Meals — the café at Betlemi Hut offers breakfast, lunch and dinner for ~300 GEL (~€100) per person per day; a newer café charges ~€60–80 per day.
